ITDP India Senior Program Director Shreya Gadepalli was recently interviewed in the Times of India about creating better bus transit in Chennai.

“Though Chennai has one of the country’s better bus networks, commuters say there are not enough services to the outlying hubs. “Good public transit systems like BRTS and metro rail can provide high-quality, rapid mobility to millions,” says Shreya Gadepalli, senior program director, Institute for Transportation & Development Policy, which implemented the successful Janmarg BRTS in Ahmedabad.
